I’m actually having fun in retail, but I want to play shadow so bad. Just not void priest. It is what it is. Fire is a close second.
Okay. I’ve only played since Shadowlands and I honestly like enh Shadowlands better.
I might be in the few who think this, but Dragonflight was lowkey worse than SL. Like gearing and not having to do Korthia was better, but the meta in SL was slightly better imo.

Cata pvp was really fun, back then blizzard was actually trying to balance pvp pretty hard because it one was of the biggest pvp games around at the time. Rogues were mega busted tho. S9 balance the first season of cata was much better than what we’ve gotten the last 3 xpacks.
Problem with wrath classic pvp was no good version of lfg, no cross realm until much later, and having to do a ton of PvE to be optimized for pvp.
While I think cata pvp will be alot of fun for those who play it, it will probably be not very active like wrath unless the above issues are addressed, mostly getting a solid LFG version, and reducing barriers to entry.

I don’t think any of these “classic” expansions can possibly have good pvp.
People know all of the broken stuff, there’s no tuning to shake things up. You’re just gonna get the broken comps spammed by everyone and their dog and nobody else is gonna have any fun.
It’ll be exactly like BC and WOTLK classic were

Agree. SL class design/meta is way better than DF, despite all of the chores in SL.
ya know, I’ve thought about going to SOD or classic cata honestly. retail is on it’s way out and for obvious reasons. maybe it’s me getting old, maybe it’s my expectations are too high or both. this is all just a precursor for the PvP games coming out that will gather my attention which will just gracefully move me on permanently. for now, it’s what’s left of this dismal experience of trucking healers, laughable PvP community, and a broken prestige system that caters to the same 1,000 people every season. /shrug

Sup everyone, OP here.
Made a lvl 80 rogue in wotlk classic (to prep for Cata Classic).
It feels so much better than retail… It’s not even close. AND it’s not even Cata Classic yet.
It’s by no means perfect, but, retail is just getting worse and worse with no signs of improvement.
Safe to say that I’m a very happy camper with wotlk classic PvP and the upcoming Cata Classic PvP; pretty much all the comments on this post agreed that Cata Classic PvP is going to be great
