Can confirm. Cruisin’ the Chasm does not work. You get on the bike, ride around, then get dismounted at the end without any quest credit. Also, the bike loses its side seat when you go into the vortex: https://i.imgur.com/POSmia6.png

Visiting Magni is also bugged. No credit for that or the chasm one.

Same, ride the rocket all the way to the end and don’t receive credit for it. How many events in a row have been broken? :upside_down_face: Don’t forget to submit your tickets and bug reports yall! Hopefully it’ll actually get fixed before the week is up. :upside_down_face: :upside_down_face:

To be clear, for each of the bugged quests, the mechanics and dialogue works, there is simply no credit granted at the end.

Bugged For Everyone:

  • Ridin’ the Rocketway
  • Cruisin’ the Chasm

Bugged if multiple players trigger the dialogue at the same time? Doesn’t seem to be the only cause but best guess

  • The Biggest Diamond Ever! (Confirmed)
  • The Banshee Queen (Confirmed)
  • The Fallen Chieftain (Not Confirmed but likely)
  • Malfurion Has Returned! (Not Confirmed but likely)

I was able to complete The Biggest Diamond Ever! and Malfurion Has Returned! but not Cruisin’ the Chasm

I’m just ecstatic that they removed the absolutely horrible, horrible PVP achievement requirement

I managed to knock out everything but the Ridin’ quest in a couple of pretty passive hours, and I know there’s steps after that, but I’ll probably be fully finished in under an hour once this is fixed.

Since Classic has Blizzard ever rolled out an event that wasn’t bugged? And have those bugs actually been fixed quickly, if at all?

Another bug is you cannot get the opposite faction quest in Dalaran, you are locked to what you did last year. In the past you could pick which one to complete each year.

I’m having this issue as well. Orphan Matron Aria didn’t have a quest for me to pick the other questline I need. She only has the, “I need another Oracle Orphan Whistle” option which is the one I did last year.

I got the Cruisin’ the Chasm quest to complete on two toons but the Biggest Diamond quest is still broken.

Just saw the blue post that they’re aware and trying to fix them, and that they’re extended the event by a week to compensate! So that’s something. :smiley:

Had to use a sandbagged boosted 80 to get the Wolvar this year but it worked. So far all quests worked in OG/Shatt/Dal.

Biggest Diamond Ever didnt work after three times resummoning my orphan. Dialogue went by fine but the completion didnt register…

Nope, they didn’t fix everything on the Alliance side as the Biggest Diamond quest is still broken.

This person was referring to the Cruisin’ the Chasm quest versus the Horde equivalent Ridin’ the Rocketway, not the questline as a whole.

thru trial and error i have found this works to get credit for banshee queen also seems to works for ally quest biggest diamond…dismiss orphan, leave uc to trisfal, log out then back in, summon him before coming inside uc, use non flying mount to ride there so orphan doesnt disappear. works everytime so far for everyone ive told…
