I used a paid faction change and transfer on my character, then on Grobbulus, named Hairypoppins. Initially, I was looking at the tauren models. Then I changed it to troll. I did not reselect tauren, but when the transfer finished, it was tauren instead of the troll I had selected. I don’t understand how that happened, but I can’t open a ticket for that issue in game. I have not followed through with the rename, or logged into the character on the new realm, with the hope that someone can help me.
I do show you as a Tauren Druid, so it’s probably best to request a refund on that transaction and redo it. Shouldn’t be terribly complicated if you haven’t touched the character. It may require a proper ticket, but I’d try the self-help first.

Self-help(requesting a refund) isn’t really an option, as I purchased 3 transfers and faction changes at the time, and this was the 3rd one. I cannot get past the murloc loop to submit a ticket in game, as my issue isn’t really listed there. There is an option for “accidentally chose the wrong race” but that is not what happened. And if I look under that option anyway, it basically says “tough luck, you can buy a race change”. That is infuriating, because it is 25 dollars that feels like a flat theft.
