I’m a bit confused by this date. In an interview with the dev team and on stage, there was a statement made that Cata would drop in the ‘early’ part of 2024 and the dev team did not want an extended ICC patch. Historically, when a hard date is set, that’s usually when we see a patch drop or very close to that date.
So do you think we’re actually going to see Cata in late Q1 or late Q2? Lastly, a few discussion videos about ICC from BlizzCon the 30% buff is coming in Dec, there won’t be a ramp up. If that’s the case it sounds like Blizzard is racing to end Wrath.
I’m pretty disappointed honestly. I would have loved to be able to get more toons through ICC and experience this in ways I never got to when it was current, I just raided on a mage in early 2010 and after our 25 and 10man heroic kill, the guild pretty much quit the game around June of 2010.
