Looking at switching my main this next expansion and was wondering about what was uber OP for a ranged DPS or a healer. any thoughts would be helpful…(also i know switching fom i get it i just want to have fun let me be)
Range dps: Fire mage
Healers: idk

Cata Elemental looks great.
Mages are pretty much always strong
For a healer, honestly you’d be fine with any.
Isn’t resto shaman his for cata. They get alot more tools and healing rain too. 
I’m personally going priest or druid.

ranged dps I think fire mage and survival hunter were kings
healer I recall disc having some growing pains but once it got gear it was really strong

Mage or Hunter are good options for ranged.
Demo locks are also fun. Though you’ll have to be at or close to melee range on a frequent basis if you want to do maximum damage (it’s not really a downside, tbh, just something to be aware of), and they have an extremely fun rotation.
Hpals are gonna be op
Mages/Warlocks were basically top end, Legendary staff from Firelands helped a lot.
