I can use it and it goes on cd and you see it hit the corpse, it will never actually loots though.

Having the same problem it’s not looting at all
So many bugs
So far the best use of my loot-a-rang was for the skill point. Every which way I use it - with a target, without a target and clicking a target with the blue hand/cursor just does not work.
Big disappointment, at least I only needed to craft one per account.
Confirming that it does not work under any of the attempted methods (targeted, not targeted, selecting a target after clicking the toy).
2k gold on my server for a toy that doesn’t work. oops.

I was looking forward to having a loot-a-rang again.
For a Hunter, looting from range is such a convenience. Maybe the pet can be taught to fetch instead.

Just went and farmed all the ore/earths to make this and yea it doesn’t work. Pitiful.

Still broken 
Still bugged and broken. Opened ticket and blizzard just doesn’t care. Lame automated response. They legit don’t even know its broken because they built their ticket system around making sure nothing can be escalated.
