Yep 9999999% Absolutely agree It should not take you Longer to get one item from a profession than it does to.
If max out every single cata rep And yes I did do that the first time around I think it should be a set number After you Fill up that archaeology bar a certain amount of times It should get you closer to the epic each time.

Some bad luck protection would certainly be welcomed. This just doesn’t seem like a profession that should be encouraged by anyone. Blizzard knows the players will go full meta and sacrifice health for the sake of a BIS weapon. As silly as it is.
