So Cata will have some changes they say. If you plan on playing it, what changes would you like to see made?
I started in MOP, therefore I don’t have an informed opinion to share. Just interested in the opinions of those who played it originally.

I want them to add back the Group Finder tool we had before they put RFD in. I think it would be a positive impact on the game to have both LFG and RFD.
Transmog using the new appearance system and NOT void storgage.
Tri Spec.
Wow tokens redeemable for BNET Balance. (Currently doable with Wrath → retail gold trades, but why not simplify it.)
Raid finder. Scrap it. As above the old LFG tool we had before they added rdf was really good for finding raids and would be a valid replacement for raid finder.
Agree, but soft saves/boss saves, so you can join a different raid after having a failed group, and you just don’t get loot on bosses you’ve downed. They could even put a daily cap on it.
-Fix LFG
-Personal Loot for RDF
-Abyssal Maw
Since they are making changes already, all I want is Flex Raiding at the beginning of Cata instead of the end of MoP. I would love to see my guild be able to do away with bench spots for raids because we have more than 10 but less than 25. In my opinion the people you play is what makes the game the most fun so add the feature that keeps us from having to sit people out.
Besides some core changes, such as AH & Transmog, I would love to see some more hands-on tuning to happen.
If some spec is discovered to outperform others by x3, as we had with Gary, then tune it down.
For healers, is some healer classes are really far behind on output and mana management, consider upping raw output and/or reducing mana cost of some abilities.
Similar goes for tanks. If some tanks fall behind, such as Warriors in ICC, perhaps consider tuning them up just a notch.
If certain encounters have odd 1 shot mechanics, make sure to get rid of those.
It’s good to have some easy and some ultra hard content. TB should never be hard, same as VoA is not hard either. First few bosses of BoT need to be easier than later bosses.
When it comes to botting and cheating, I’d get rid of wave bans and migrate to on-the-spot bans.
I figure some people are not fan of transmog, so an option for toggle on/off would be great. I love mog, but some may not. So if they don’t see mine, its not a big issue.
I want the option to go back to the old world. We should be able to talk to Chromie to phase back to Vanilla Azeroth. This way we can do all old quests and even level 60 Naxxramas for transmog.
They have confirmed we are getting this already.
RF only exists for Dragon Soul at the very end of the xpac. Its lower gs & difficulty than Normal let alone heroic. It can be completely skipped/ignored. Personally as someone that doesnt pve much I like that I can bring alts in there and snag DS trinkets etc. It also allows the worst players to see the raid content without needing a guild or logs or gold or whatever the current majority of these runs demand lol.
Plus, clean on-the-fly changes will be much easier to make through Leather/Mail/Plate Specialization abilities and their spec subclasses. Shouldn’t be hard to add one for Cloth. Then if there’s an outlier in a phase, there’s a top-level tuning dial.
