Beyond the ridiculous amount of bugs, and the fact that we aren’t getting a Pre Patch event like the Elemental Unrest, why is Blizzard speed rushing this to release?
The Beta seems beyond dead, barely people are playing on it which isn’t helping with the bugs, this whole Cata situation, legitimately seems sad
Rushing it for tourist and not getting it in proper order to be released, Blizzard should really take a step back and reanalyze this whole situation. Because if this launches this way, I can’t see a future for Cata Classic.
Unless they have another build that isn’t on the beta for whatever reason, the game is going to be insanely buggy on launch. Half the new systems are completely missing on the beta, and the half that are in are riddled with bugs. If you told me Cata was launching in 3 months I would be extremely worried, the fact that its coming out in 3 weeks is mind-boggling.
It’s a total embarassment… they had pvp templates up and running like 3 months before Wrath launched. People are seriously flocking en masse to a private server where they get 150+ ms to test Cata pvp
IDK, but maybe they committed to a timeline, published it, and are in a hurry to meet those expectations.
You’ve mentioned some things in your post that I was hoping you could explain:
What’s the Elemental Unrest pre-patch event? Why is it a fact that we aren’t getting it? Why should anyone care?
Also for this part, why should anyone care? I’m actually looking forward to Cata, but so far at least, I don’t care about any of the things you’re mentioning. Should I?
What are tourists? I’ve heard people use this term in WoW, but what does it mean? Are there people who live in WoW? And is this a flex that WoW is their (and your) home and that people who only play it part time, but do other things are tourists? Or am I misunderstanding.
Anyway, while I think the over-arching point you are likely trying to make is that you are concerned that the launch of Cataclysm is being rushed, while it might not live up to the quality expectations that people have for Blizzard, the post comes across (to me at least) as complainy, and sort of misses that point. I can’t help but wonder if it doesn’t belong in the SoD forums, which seem to cater to louder complainers.
Legitimately not true, I even started post a month ago talking about Cata classes and which to be excited for and this week I talked in another talking about zones
Your just a blind tourists, that doesn’t want to accept that this launch is being rushed and the quality is below that of a private server
This must be your word of the month. Do you parrot other things you hear/see? I’m surprise you’ve not worked in the word gaslight among other parroted words.
They aren’t rushing it for tourists. They’re actually making it harder for tourists to play it because they’re releasing it right next to a bunch of other releases.
Retail’s MoP remix event launches only 4 days before Cata Classic.
Diablo 4 season 4 launches a couple days before MoP remix.
TWW alpha started and a beta will start at some point during early Cata followed by a TWW pre-patch for retail.
SoD phase 4 will presumably launch somewhere in there as well.
I have been in the beta since almost the start, and I will say I am concerned myself.
There has been little to no communication on issues.
The servers still have a lot of issues.
Skipping past all the pre-expansion events.
Everything just feels very rushed, even the amount of time we get in the expansion is rushed.
It’s almost like their letting AI do the cataclysm development release which would explain the lack of communication.
They have their team spread out way too thin I think with all these WoW iterations.
Fact one: Cata is coming in about three days whether you like it or not.
Fact two: There are a number of idiots whinging on these forums because that cannot grasp the reality of fact one.
Fact three: There are a number of idiots working of assumptions rather than facts, Massive fail in logic.
Fact four: Feel free to vent opinions provided it does not conflict with facts one, two and three.
