I dinged 70 today and had enough Honor to buy a full Honor set which is 411 in BGs and Arena and now I’m looking forward to complete all the Conquest Quests and grind some Solo Shuffle to slowly grind Conquest gear! There’s also smtg like a weekly bar that fills up like in BfA and with Solo Shuffle I will most likely get a reward from the great vault (never got one for PvP)

Personally, I think caps are important to keep people from gearing too quickly and spamming battlegrounds, but that is just me.

And currency caps are necessary for the health of the game.
Yep they are super necessary if you don’t want to only PvP.
Doesn’t concern me too much since I’m slow, but I understand it can be annoying for players who wish to grind.
It allows the mythic plus players that don’t have caps to farm all week long for their PvE gear then get to catch up to you that PvP all week long for no gear. Great system.
I’ve been enjoying it, too. I really enjoy Devoker in EBGs and BGs.
If you really think it makes that much of a difference, you can do the exact same thing.
Fact is, it doesn’t, and you aren’t, because it’s unnecessary.
What’s wrong with that. The ilvl cap for mythic+ is much greater and far harder content than pvp has to offer. The playing field is even with ilvls, what pvpers have been crying to be normalized for the last 3 expacs. Now all of you are at the mercy of class imbalances, good luck getting that fixed.
I can’t wait until I decide to do PvP 3 months into Season 1 and quit because of gear discrepancy.

I’m saying being one-shot in PvP is not fun.
I’m saying losing the majority of my games because of my own gear is not fun.
I’m saying PvP gear needs a change but it’ll never happen.
If you’re talking about playing against fully-geared players with no gear, that’s the equivalent of going into a raid with no gear. You’re just gonna have a bad time. Eventually you’ll be ahead of the curve.
Part of the game is the gearing process. It’s a cornerstone of this game.
Sounds like you didn’t hear that there is a min ilvl to solo shuffle.
If you’re talking about battlegrounds, nobody “deserves” to win bgs. Too many players, too random, etc.
If you do arena with someone who has no gear, that’s kinda on you.
I did the arena weekly and I kept getting paired with the same people… So that was stupid
Yea, being forced to have to PvE because your already currency capped in PvP feels bad for any PvP player. You are practically playing PvP with no rewards at that point. They should have left it how it was in Shadowlands season 4 last August which had no conquest cap, now Blizzard just went backwards for PvP and they thank you for being another statistic for their time gate metrics.
