Causal Player that only plays maybe 1 hour a day has no chance playing this expansion. Its slow its hard you lost all your powers from BFA getting a weapon is next to none. Forget about leveling one of your alts what the heck happened to this game or am I just getting too old ?

Prepare to be told that youâre old, donât know what WoW is about, that you didnât sit through the âgood old daysâ of Vanilla WoW, and that âeverything is fine, you just suckâ.
While âlosingâ all your power from the previous expansion is par for the course, it does seem a lot more than usual with Shadowlands. It feels like Activision (I refuse to call this a Blizzard game anymore since all the developers who made this game a success have left the company or were fired) has gone out of their way to âsquishâ things a bit too far, giving people the feeling of a lack of progression and hope.
As for Alts, you can still level them, but ultimately it goes back to that feeling of hopelessness and feeling extremely underpowered even if you manage to max everything out with best in slot gear and everything.
And yes, Shadowlands is very casual unfriendly. Shadowlands was designed to make people play nothing but WoW 24/7 in order to progress in the game. Activision listened to the hardcore player base they gained when WoW Classic was released and thought they could get those players back to retail WoW by making retail feel more like Classic again.

Yeah Iâm as casual as a person can be. At 1 hour a day you really shouldnât have much in the way of expectations. Need to find a game thatâs suited to that 1 hour.

I am a casual player. I get to play roughly 1-2 hours a day during my work days and have 3 kids to take care of on my weekends. Typical for most people my age right?
Iâm also in a casual guide where many players are much like me. Yes, we organize with our limited spare time, but we also just cleared Normal Nathria and are doing M+ when we can with the intention of doing Heroic and getting closer to +15s before the end of the season. You have to put the effort into the game and push yourself when you can.

You can craft 9 pieces of gear and get a neck and cloak from the beginner quest. After that you can gear in pvp in which an hour a day is fine. After you have your 184âs you could do a m+ and at least get a weekly reward. How much easier does it need to be?

PreachGaming released a video that talks about gearing but touches on some points that I agreed with. And that is, this expansion really just went the âclassicâ way instead of keeping some things they did well, that they learned from, itâs really just a âraid or dieâ expansion in some respect and I agree with him.
There isnât really anything interesting outside of that or worthwhile to do with this expansion unfortunately. Little thought or foresight was had on these front loaded systems to really even give me much interest to do and invest time in.

Go play a MOBA or BR if you only have an hour a day. The game has never been playable if you only have an hour a day.

Except WoW. I played classic. Retail is absolutely more catered towards casual players more than hardcore. And end-game content, casual players are gated. And not even bad casual players. GOOD casual players who would get offered invites to sweaty guilds clearing mythics have trouble getting into groups because he plays warrior. Why take warrior when you can just take DH.
But complain about it? People just gonna tell you youâre bad or million of reasons to defend/fanboy Blizzard even though 2/3 of the tanks are made up of 2 classes.

Tap a world boss for credit or loot. Donât even have to be in a group. I canât tell if Iâm bored or lazy.

except they didnât learn why people didnât complain about gear. Itâs really a blizzard created problem, with the introduction of seasons, gear and raids mean nothing when the next season comes out. So in turn loot isnât more meaningful with this terrible drop rates.

YeahâŚhour a day is not ending well here. You can burn 10 minutes to just to get your calling in home area to go to the foreign area its in lol.
Even better when the calling is in the areaâŚyou logged into and flew to find out its the calling.

Playing 1 hour a day is a you problem.
1 hour is not enough to raid, maybe enough for 1 m+ run if you donât have to form the group, maybe time for 2-3 bgs.
It wouldnât matter what expansion you are in this just isnât the game for you. If you really want to play it then you have to understand that it will never cater to the ultra casual.

Iâm curious, honestly you have given little indication of what you hope to achieve. If you plan to do the casual dungeon running, or occasional key or even just do WQs, Iâd say you are incorrect in your thinking. Renown has plenty of catchup mechanics and right now the set you get from your Covenant can be upgraded to 174 which is currently over heroic dungeon difficulty and will only increase in the coming weeks giving you a set beyond heroic dungeons. WQ rewards can be upgraded from said Renown making higher ilvl weapons easier to obtain, and 190 epics are purchasable. So what exactly are you not able to do âcasuallyâ here if I may ask?

Best response from a paid forum police! The game is boring, even the quests are quests boring grind this expansion, gearing is RNG brutal. This to try and hide the lack of good content. Covenants to restrictive so much irrelevant crap in the game i am not interested in collecting, changing to a different spec becomes a pain. You are making a game for the 24 hour a day no life players but want the casuals money to pay for it. People up to you but really there is nothing in it for you.
I had 12 alts level 120 /50 only shaman not leveled i found it pointless BFA . This expansion played hunter and monk. I can not bring my self to continue even with the 1 alt monk. Had more fun playing other games past 48 hours than the 4 weeks playing this grinding RNG garbage.
