Casual bashing

stop selling tokens casuals
stop buying gold with tokens
that will teach them

price for AH tokens will go way up
blizzard makes less token money

I keep hearing people like you say that, but then we see these threads where people incessantly whine about others getting the same gear as them for less effort.

It’s not effort if its a labor of love.

Your definition of elites is flawed

ah… what?

Just because you enjoy something doesn’t mean it doesn’t take effort.

I fence for example (as in, swords). I love it. I can assure you, every fight is an effort. More effort if I want to win. That I enjoy the activity doesn’t change that.

the comparison I was making is that it’s not effort you complain about.

I like working on my Jeep. It takes a LOT of effort and money sometimes but I also don’t sit there complaining about how much time and money I spend. I do it because I want to. If I didn’t want to, I would do it.

The elitist seem to do the content not because they want to, they do it just for the rewards. They take no intrinsic pleasure in the activity. See all their complaints. All they want is gear, and gear that shows they are better than others. Their goal is all appearance and status based. It’s not a labor of love.

In your comparison, it would be like you hating fencing, but doing it because it makes you look good in the eye of other people - not really because you like it.

I’m just going to back quietly out of the room, let myself out… If anyone asks, you didn’t see me.

Because casuals are throwing a fit, because we so-called, “Elites”, AKA people who put effort into pursuing challenging content, are getting a system that allows us to upgrade our gear to keep up with more and more challenging content.

They feel entitled to receiving the same gear, at no effort on their part, just because they think it’s wrong that people have better gear then they do.

After much deliberations and discussions, 1 week ceasefire has been declared between Elitists and Casuals

Way to miss the point

Well said!

Like I’ve said

For the Elites getting the gear is a path to their end came of completing the mythic raid or the really hard mythic dungeon.

For Elitist completing the mythic raid or completing the really hard mythic dungeon is just a path to their end game of getting gear.

What point was there?

“Look at me, I’m a casual, I bear such a huge burden of paying a sub”.

Who cares? If you genuinely think Blizzard don’t respect you as a customer and are just using you to prop up some neckbeard elitists playing the “real” game, then quit.

If you’re a casual and getting your money worth from an optional entertainment product, you’re not some poor hard-done by victim supporting their abusers out of selflessness.

I didn’t say I agreed with him. Only that he missed OP’s point.

OP didn’t have a point.

They’re not a victim because they pay for a whole game and token purchases (since otherwise they wouldn’t be supporting those “elites”) and are stuck in crap gear because they’re too scared to do anything harder than WQ’s.

Just gonna leave this here…

You have literally no evidence of this. Great to start out your whine with delusional lying, the “casual” classic!

What are “casuals” spending that much token dough on? Paid carries? Pets on the AH?

I’m pretty casual, am I missing out on something I should be buying?

Basically casuals think because they pay a gym membership and walk on a treadmill at minimum speed they should be ripped like the fittest guys in the gym because they pay the same money. Lol

Fun fact. Casuals only buy tokens because elitists hold them at gunpoint.

That’s literally the only reason. So you’ll buy those tokens if you know what’s good for you.
