Caster class to learn PvP in shuffle?

I’ve played a dev evoker, but it didn’t felt like I could learn much more from the class. It just doesn’t play like other ranged.

I’m now playing a lock but I feel like I’ve hit a wall that I can’t pass.

BM hunter is your best bet
easy to use
which allows you to learn solid basics
less tunnel vision playing and more awareness playing

Shadow is def the strong caster in shuffle atm. Very tanky, good CC, good sustained, good utility.

Lock is caster 101, so if u can make it work as lock, everything else will come easier.

Ele shaman would be a good learning spec

Tanky easy damage rotation doesn’t cast a lot

High skill cap abilities that can make a difference like grounding tremor and knock

I think it’s the perfect pick because it’s fairly easy to figure out at a baseline but has lots of room to keep getting better.

If you like playing warlock though you should just keep playing it. Even if there’s a perceived wall we’re all playing a video game and the only thing past that wall is another one. Don’t sweat it and just have fun. If you want to practice and improve do it on the spec you have the most fun on and it will happen easier

Ele Shaman or lock rn are great for beginners.

What software people use to record theae days?

tldr: would recommend Shadow Priest, Ele or Lock in that order.

I think shadow is a very good start as its the tankiest caster which imo is very important for learning, if you play a squishy caster or one that requires better positioning to survive it might be harder to start out on. Also does good damage, has a really good cc chain to help you learn how to set up really well, etc.

Other options would be Ele sham, its not as tanky as spriest but it still has good defensives to rotate. Its a bit weaker into melee than spriest depending on what the enemy healer is, but it doesn’t cast nearly as much as spriest so that is a benefit for ele. Lock is another great option, and I think you will probably hit a wall on any caster so it might be worthwhile to just stick to whichever caster you enjoy. All of these options do great damage.
