I have a bank guild and all members are me. One character, a dracthyr priest named Whitesnake can’t withdraw gold. He can withdraw items but no gold. Every character except the guild master is the same rank and all others have no problem. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!
Have you tried creating a new rank, dropping Whitesnake down to it then bumping them back up?

I didn’t think of that. Thanks! I’ll give it a try. Edit: Nope, that didn’t work. It gave me the idea to try and promote Whitesnake to Guildmaster but that didn’t work either. Thanks for the suggestion! Is there a level limit that I don’t know about? Whitesnake is only level 17 now.

Your guild permissions need to be checked, sounds like you’ve got a setting that says no withdrawal. Make sure your on the toon that is guild master.

That was the first thing I thought of but all my characters except the guildmaster have the same rank and permissions. I checked the others and they can all withdraw. Thanks for the suggestion.

I made him a while back but deleted him. I just restored him today. Good idea! Maybe there is a cooldown to withdraw gold but not items. Thanks!

I know for a little while there was a bug where a character couldn’t withdraw more than they had on hand. How much are you trying to take out, and how much do you have on hand? Try removing a single copper maybe?
Since it’s only affecting one character you could also try a UI reset.
Rename or move the folders back when done testing if it didn’t work so you can get your UI back.

I mailed the character 5000 gold but he still can’t remove even a copper. I’ll try the complete ui reset next. Thanks!

Maybe have him leave the guild, and then re add him. It’s really easy to do with the new guild system, you don’t need a friend on standby, you can do it all yourself.
I restored a character last month and did this for him. He can use everything fine now.

Can he use the Warband bank? You could put the money in the Warband and see if he can withdraw it.

I think I’m going to have to go with the ticket. I tried making him the guildmaster and it won’t let me. I also can’t remove him from the guild. He can withdraw from warband bank. I think I’ll run a scan and repair and then put in a ticket. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!

If the toon is newly restored there may be a 24 hour hold on certain activities…not sure, waiting for someone with more info to chime in.

I had thought of that but I’ve restored many characters and always do the item restore directly after. Then I withdraw gold from the guild bank to claim the items from the mail. This is the first time I’ve had any problem. I put in a ticket so we’ll see what happens.
Edit: Just to bring everyone who is interested up to date Blizzard answered my ticket. Apparently my priest is both in the guild and not in the guild at the same time. Schrodinger’s dracthyr. They have done whatever they do and we hope it will resolve itself with Tuesday’s maintenance. Big thank you to everyone for your help and suggestions!
