Too true. Honestly i’d be surprised if it wasn’t just a homeless person they found in Irvine, let alone an intern.
In all seriousness, I noticed reported outage spikes across most of Activision’s games, and I think there’s been ongoing ddos attacks against X as well today (prob others as well if I’m right here). It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s some hostile nation state ddos’ing vulnerable American businesses just to cause chaos, and WoW is just collateral damage caught downstream of a larger server provider or something (ie, Microsoft, although I haven’t seen Azure reported down which would certainly be a target, so prob not this specifically)
