Who else is in the same boat? I feel like TBC is the waiting room for WOTLK, just like how vanilla was the waiting room for TBC because TBC was better.
have fun buddy, im out after TBC
Nope. WotLK is where the game got infected with retail players. TBC is as good as “classic” will ever get.
Most wrath babies will change their minds after they play TBC.
TBC is the ultimate wow expansion.
WOTLK was good, but most of the people who prefer it over TBC, do it for superficial reasons. Like DK’s, or Arthas. The amount of improvements TBC made on the game was monumental.
Nope just wanted TBC why does everyone once they get something just want something else?
I can’t wait for that dungeon finder and being able to queue for bg’s while mining/herbing out in the world. Loved Wraith so much, the dungeons were cool as hell too.
That came at the end of wrath. Retail is what you are looking for.
No it isn’t, shadowlands is far different than Wraith, the talents, the game style, litterally everything.
Retail lost me in BfA. I told everyone that SL would be horrible. They had to find out for themselves.
I liked both expansions, and I’m stoked for both.
Near the end when LFD was added and there was a large team shift is when I noticed it going downhill.
Here is hoping they see everything that was good in Vanilla/TBC/Wrath and begin a new path for WoW. Keep the Classic feel and community going.
Wrath is the endpoint for me, most likely. I have no interest repeating the start of the downfall of WoW.
Blizzard would have to artificially disable LFD for me to even consider it.
I’m curious about Wrath of the Lich King because I skipped that expansion when it was new … but if it means cross-realm Dungeon Finder then it’s going to end up sucking hard like it does in Retail. If Dungeon Finder in WotLK Classic is per-realm only then maybe it won’t wreck the 5-man dungeon experience. Guess I’ll see how it goes.
Cross-server LFD was in 3.3, so hopefully they’d disable it until the final phase, but it also brought about brain dead heroics and really really easy raids.
I enjoyed most of wrath, but LFD killed it for me.
Frankly, I would not look forward to TOC raiding again either… classic wrath will be an odd beast for blizzard to tackle frankly. Do they not release LFD, or do they wait for the final phase… or will they just release it day 1?
Just too much that started to push people away. Rotations were fun, talent trees and glyphs were great. Gameplay, imo, was overall at its peak… but crap man… cross server dungeon queing and a full raid tier that everyone and their mother hated with a passion? I just don’t know how to feel about it.
I rather have Wrath, I want to kill Arthas so bad.
Wrath was the start of a few design philosophies that I think were far more detrimental to the game than constructive, namely loot resets every patch, LFD, and multiple raid difficulties. TBH with that last one, I think it’s going to be interesting to see which lockout system they go with, since it changed every patch when Wrath was live.
That said, I’m almost certainly going to play it, if only to play a DK and for arena.
Technically even vanilla was infected with retail players because that was retail at the time.
It came out 1 year into wrath, and 1 year before Cata.
only thing I’m look forward to in wrath is that is when healers became immortal especially disc
