A couple days ago the Cloud Serpent Soul dropped for me in a MOP dungeon. My covenant is Ardenweld, I turned in the quest for Cloud Serpent Soul to Lady Munn in my Covenant Hall. It did not allow me the option to change the soulshape. I can change to other ones I’ve gotten, but not Cloud Serpent.
Are you just not seeing it as an option? I received it last night on my Hunter and had to cycle through quite a bit of other options in order to choose it.
There is no option for it. It was the first one I got, too. So There was nothing there before. I also got another one shortly after and that option is shown.
I just tested it on my fresh little priest who got hers over the last day or so. She only has the base vulpin, cloud serpent and alpaca shapes. But I still had to keep clicking “What other forms can I take?” two or three times, even when the pages didn’t offer any selections to be made before I got to the last page that offered those two shapes.
Keep clicking a few times through, see if it will pop up on the third or fourth page.
Wow, that’s it! And now I think I can’t even use it now because I’m 60 and I can’t use my Covenant abilities. Jeez, lol! Thanks though!
I thought maybe my mouse wasn’t working at first when the screen wasn’t changing, so I get it!
And sheesh, just doing timewalking over this past week was killing me. I’m so used to having my covenant abilities in my rotations and them not working outside of Shadowlands content just threw me off all kinds of ways.

There is actually a toy that will allow you to continue using your soulshape outside of SL. I grabbed the quest on my main so it wasn’t there on my poor priestling, but if you get it on one character any of your Night Fae can continue to soulshape outside of the Shadowlands. So make sure you’ve got yours should you want to keep cloud serpent-ing across Azeroth.
