Can't Update

Battle net App say update when I try to update it says check internet connection but since I am able to post this message my internet is fine.

Error is BLZBNTAGT00001399

Tuesday is maintenance day, I’d give this a go a bit later when that ends.

Thanks for the quick reply. In the past usually the update could be done before the servers were back up.

And that may not be the issue now, but it is the first suspect.

There can be various things worked on during a maintenance.

Any more reports on this, I am getting a similar error message when I try to log in, and seems the servers are back up from maintinance. Might be a Mac specific issue.

Yeah, was going to, figured I would ask here in case there was a known issue since someone asked about the same issue this morning just in case.

I did decided to reboot my computer on the off chance that could magically fix something even if restarting bnet did nothing, and it seems to have “fixed” the issue, not sure why that would have worked, never seen maintenance cause this before, perhaps just a coincidence in timing. So if the OP is still having issues, maybe try that.

As maddening as it is, sometimes turning it off and on again fixes things. I’m glad to hear it did in your case. :slight_smile:

Well as Vrakthris advised, the best option will be to submit a ticket and make a post which should probably go on the Mac Technical Support Forum (link below). There doesn’t appear to be a known issue impacting players that Blizzard is tracking, and the error code does indicate a that its related to your computers network connection. I know I personally was able to resolve the issue simply by rebooting my computer which completely reset my network connection, simply shutting down battlenet did nothing, so definitely try that.
