I have the achievement that says it’s required. I completed that achievement on a horde character. I have a level 50 dwarf warrior as well, and when i go to the embassy in SW and click on the Mechagnome banner inside, it’s green as if I’ve met the requirements. But there’s no quest to unlock the Mechagnomes. Help.
Just checking if that character has the Mechagon zone unlocked?

Note : To be able to complete the recruitment questline for Mechagnomes, your level 50+ Alliance character must first unlock the Mechagon zone.
Are you visiting the embassy with your level 50, Gardein? Those quests are available starting at level 45.
Yes my dwarf warrior is level 50, I have the achievement that’s required but not getting a quest for the Mechagnomes.
I had this same issue friend, once i completed the mechagon introduction quest ( on my alliance character) i was immediately put on the allied race quest, basically after Prince erazmir does his little escort around mechagon, you get a quest to go back to boralus and that will start the unlock. hope this helps
