Can't Unlock Mag'har Orc Race

Yesterday I achieved exalted with Honorbound, went to Orgrimar and got the quest from Eitrig to talk to Anachronos. After talking with Anachronos he sent me to the dark portal.

I clicked on the portal and found and beat Guldan. Then nothing happened. I logged out, logged back in. Left the zone and came back. The quest did not progress.

I decided to abandon the quest to start over, now I don’t see Eitrig in Orgrimar and don’t have the quest to talk to Anachronos.

I opened a bug on the forums yesterday but have received no response. Please look into this and get my character unstuck from this broken state, thanks.

You’ll need to submit a ticket.

Posting/reporting bugs is excellent, thank you - but you don’t get ‘action’ there, those are for QA to have a look to fix an issue, not necessarily an individual case.

Please clarify, when I tried to open ticket it took me to the forums. (bug forums)

We used to be able to open tickets in-game but I don’t see the option anymore, it just opens a forum.

If you abandoned a quest, you should be able to pick it up at the point you received it. Have you done a proper reset UI by chance? It is not outside the realm of possibility this could be a UI issue as well.

The quest to take you to the portal is independent of the quest to kill the Echo of Gul’dan, if memory serves.

It should be available to be picked up again at the portal from Anachronos.
