So apparently they took away the ability to open a ticket so I have to use the forums now.
I am very frustrated. I just did the requirements to unlock the Zandalari allied race. I did the questline, got a mount, and went back to the banner in Orgrimmar. The banner says I completed the requirements.
I did not get an achievement and I can’t make a zandalari troll.
Is there more to the questline? Everyone I’ve spoken to said I did everything there is to do. What is going on?
Did you start another allied race quest? If so, it’d stop you from unlock any other until that is done. Dropping those quests won’t stop their effects.

Other people on my server are telling me they’ve had this problem with other allied races. One person said they solved it by doing the questline AGAIN on another character.
This is ridiculous. Fix this now, Blizzard. Give me what I earned. Don’t waste my time.
From what I can see, Zilidar, you started the quest line, completing the first quest, but then didn’t go any further.
You are on A Queen’s Entourage. Go talk to Natal’hakata.
To be frank, most people are confused, and often start various quest lines without remembering where they left off.
Did you go to the embassary in the capital city to recruit the allied race? Your armory does not indicate this was done, and doing the recruit chain is part of unlocking an allied race.
Edit, this felt outdated, was trying to find the quest chain only from the embessary.
I don’t have that quest, or any quest related to the zandalari any more. I did several quests in Dazar’alor, then got a mount. Then the quests ended.
Maybe I was supposed to get another quest automatically? Why does the banner in Orgrimmar say I’ve completed the requirements? It just says “reach level 40” with a check mark next to it.
You don’t need to do that anymore for Allied Races. You only need to met the minimum level 40+ requirement. Then you need to do the quest line that unlocks them.
Technicaly the ticeket category would be stuck on queat but this mite be considered a game hint.
The banner is what let you know you can start the questrline to unlock them, not that it is the only unlock.
No, you don’t have that quest, you would need to pick it up.
The Banner lists the old requirements that qualify you to unlock the race, to start the quest line. It isn’t an indication that you have unlocked the race to create one. Sorry for the confusion.
…As often with Blizzard, I am not sure if I’m stupid or the game was misleading.
But thank you for explaining that. I was genuinely confused when I went back to Org and thought the game was telling me I already unlocked the race.
