Can't transfer level 1 character?

With the paid transfer being implemented today, I intended to transfer a bank alt with my main. But after transferring my main and trying to transfer my level 1 alt, it says it does not meet minimum level requirements. There is no information about a specific level requirement, there is a cap for gold at levels 1-30, which leads me to believe level 1 should be available. As well as the fact that during free char moves, a level 1 was able to be moved.

Is this intended, or a bug at the moment? Or is there any info on an actual specific level the character must be?

I think you have to be a minimum of level 10 to transfer. At least I think that’s what it was back in the day, or maybe even currently. Kind of strange they wouldn’t mention that in the post, though.

  • Each transfer has a ninety-day cooldown.
  • Gold transfer limits specific level ranges are as follows:
    • Level 1-30 can transfer with up to 100 gold
    • Level 31-50 can transfer with up to 500 gold
    • Level 51-60 can transfer with up to 2000 gold

OP, make sure you don’t have over 100g

That seems to be in regards to the current version of the game though if I am not wrong? Since it says directly after that “Death Knights must be at least level 60.”

Yeah but the table is again in regards to the current version as it scales to 120, and there is a specific gold cap on the post here in regards to classic that states 1-30. So I guess it’s just currently really unclear. Especially when level 1 was fine to transfer during the free moves that we’re available.

Because it literally says in the paid transfer post today by a blue 1-30 in regards to level range.

Level 10 is fast enough, and bright side, it lets you pick up Enchanting. You can DE any level item regardless of your skill level in Vanilla, I believe.

I’ve read some of the posts here, and i would like to note that, if you must be level 10 to transfer (debatable i guess?)… you could have ALREADY done that by now, rather than the forum back and forth.

Just my $.02… take it or leave it.

The one post saying 1-30 is clearly wrong and it takes just a bit of reading to figure out the information you just posted which is 100% accurate.
