I play on EU but those forums are dead. Been posting on the forums here for probably 2~3 years (not specifically this char). I’ve never had a US sub and never had issues changing to this char before.
I installed a new browser to test some things and logged in to the US forums and it refuses to let me pick this character, while obviously I can still post from it with my main browser.
Forums are a tad temperamental. :/ Try again later?
The forums are going through sort of some difficulties. So, sadly, some features won’t work, or will take a while to work.
If you encounter anything else, you could try and reporting it to the Website Bug Report forums.

Had been happening over a day. I was just able to get back in now and nothing changed my end, so likely something changed your end.
It is unfortunately a recurring issue that comes and goes. As far as we’re aware it is related to other systems and work that is being done there, but we don’t have an ETA on an overall resolution.
I logged out and back in today and it seems fixed!
