Can't return to Dragon Isles?

My character Meiline has been unable to return to Dragon Isles. She is level 61, has DI jewel crafting and mining. She got there in the early days of expansion but since then there is no boat for her in SW. I have wiped all quest prior to expansion. I searched on forums however there were no solutions that I found even though others were having the same problem.

Unfortunately this is very common id suggest getting a port to the DF hub and flying to zone u were questing or get flown there.

I know that there have been issues at times with the boats not showing up correctly.

There are a few things you could try to get around the boat not showing up properly.

  • Ask a Mage to port you to Valdrakken
  • Go to Durotar and ride the Horde airship
  • Group up with someone on a different realm to see if their boat is showing up

I can group up with you on Bloodscalp if you wish and pull you to my realm. I have a level 70 Alliance Hunter.

That is so kind! I wish you worked for Blizzard. I would like this resolved from their end. One thing I noticed is that this part of the docks is completely shut down - just for this character. If I approach when either boat is docked it disappears. The mailbox near that dock appears on my map, but disappears as I get close. Thanks again for the offer! I will take you up on it, if I don’t find a resolution.

Sounds like something has you phased. Have you started any Legion or BFA intro quests?

Kyzera is on the right track here I think. I strongly suggest finishing off anything that might be causing phasing in SW.

Or see if the Durotar airship will take you.

The character completed The Legion Returns and In the Blink of an Eye. However, none of the quests in between were completed. So it seems like the character did the Legion intro skip. They have also been questing in Legion zones.

There is a workaround of sorts posted on Icy-Veins if you wanted to try it as well.
