I’m going to ask this here seen as i didn’t get an answer over on the EU customer support forum but i am asking about an EU account.
I made a new battle net account back at the start of this year so i could start fresh and so i can play with some friends but then i took some time off away from the game.
I’m now wanting to return but i can’t remember what email i used to make my account. is there a way i can get back into it?
For security reasons Blizzard likely won’t be able to tell you the email used, as that is half of your log in information. It’d be dangerous to just throw that information around.
If you remember what service you signed the email up under (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) you may be able to recover your email? Some services allow you to set up a backup email in case you lose/forget another email’s credentials.
If you have a name-realm a Blizzardian could give a very minor hint. But they are unable to reveal the email to you.
What are the chances of one stopping by over the weekend?
Well there are reasons I didn’t answer at the EU CS forums - But the EU CS staff is away on weekends. For the US side, I’m not sure if they are around either.
A case of having patience.
Guess will keep an eye out for someone and if that’s something they can do i will give them character name.

I’m not entirely sure that the US SFAs will be able to lend any assistance. I was under the belief that their systems are not connected. If I am wrong I am sure someone will be along to correct my error
They are. We can help out other regions when needed. 
Guuah is correct, we usually cannot give you the email address used. Our staff will usually work to verify that you are the registered user on the account and update the email address to something else.
That said, I might be able to give you some hints. Unfortunately, it seems your name is a lot more common than I would have believed so I need some other reference. Do you recall the name/realm of any of the characters on that account?

Hmm, well. A couple of things.
This appears to be under a different name, while it does share the same last name. So I am assuming wife or sister. Which technically doesn’t make it your account, but theirs. We don’t allow sharing between adults so please keep that in mind.
That said, I can say it is a @gmail account that starts with I.
