Can't queue for other xpac dungeons regardless of timeline

Only BFA dungeons are available no matter what timeline I choose at level 20.

Did you talk to Chromie to pick a different timeline?

  • If you are below level 60 and are leveling up through a Timewalking Campaign, you can only queue for dungeons appropriate to your chosen Timewalking Campaign. To queue for dungeons of other expansions, talk to Chromie, reverse the timeline, and choose the expansion related to the dungeons you want to do

Yes I mentioned above that I picked a different timeline, that requires talking to Chromie. No matter what timeline I choose from her, the dungeons remain BFA :frowning:

Are you going to the Warboard and clicking on it to complete that part of the quest she gives for each timeline you choose? You then turn in the quest to her next to the Warboard.

Yep tried that, completed the quest. I swap to a different timeline and back and it gives me the same quest all over again despite completing it. Something is broken.

When engaging with Chromie to swap timelines, does it show the timeline you are in greyed out?

Yeah when I choose the timeline, it grays out. I get the quest from her to go to the board or the intro quest, etc. I do those, still cant queue for the xpac dungeon as it remains a list of BFA dungeons. I go to swap to a different timeline, and the same thing happens. If I swap back to a timeline Ive already done the intro for, it tries to give me the intro quest yet again. :frowning:

When we received Shadowlands for free.
I was 50 on this toon and selected Cromie Shadowlands. I leveled to 60 with only BfA dgs.
Never able to play 60 Shadowlands DG’s even at 60.
I reported this in bug forum and let sub run out…
I am able to do Shadowlands. Dg’s as a free player… On less than 20…C.Time.

That isn’t a bug.

  • If you are level 60 and do not own Dragonflight, you will not be able to do Timewalking campaigns, and you will currently only see Battle for Azeroth dungeons
  • Level 60 characters who do own Dragonflight cannot queue for random dungeons; once they level to 61, they have that option
  • If you used a level boost on your character, you cannot cannot queue for Timewalking or Holiday dungeons for 24 hours

Sorry to necro but was there ever a fix for this? Same thing happening for me

I have not time on account to find out since.
There is no fix that I found.
I just play the DG’s as a less than 20 and no I did not buy the expac.
They locked out level 60’s from playing the S.L. dgs. Using the RDF…

I ran into the same issue on my hunter today. I found I had to do the following to get my dungeons to swap when changing timelines.

  1. Talk to Chromie and request to return to the present time line.
  2. Logout to character screen.
  3. Log back in, talk to Chromie, and select the timeline of your choice.

This happened to me today on a new level 11 gnome.

Using the hero board and turning in that quest didn’t fix it.

I had to return the main timeline, log out and back in and when I came back in and selected Cataclysm I can now queue for the Classic Dungeons.
