I started using the crafting system not long ago and it’s been great but for some reason I cannot place an order now on my paladin. I’m unsure how the system works but I have tried about… 2~ days now and it just keeps telling me to try again later.
I had no problem placing an order for the bracers I have now but for some reason I’m looking for a weapon and it’s an issue.
Do you have the mats/items to make the item? I believe you need the needed items to place an order.
The biggest issue I can think of off the top of my head - specifically because you’re posting from a Ret pally - do you have enough of the sparks? Gear generally only needs one but two-handed weapons do require two of them. I know that got me at one point when I was putting orders in for a staff.
Have you tried temporarily turning off your add-ons to place the order? Sometimes they can get in the way. Another thing you can try is doing a full and proper UI reset (more than just turning off the add-ons).
OMG. I just double checked that, that’s so dumb, and of course I only have one, the one I was thinking was enough. Also can’t imagen I could use two different sparks and just hope the higher of the two. T_T
They’re tricky like that. And yeah, I wish there was a way to kind of still use the older sparks and trade them around somehow. Here recently I’ve just been placing arbitrary orders to my alts when trying to finish leveling their professions those last couple of points.
But yup, that would be the culprit! It doesn’t solve your being able to place the order right now, but if you’ve not earned the splinters you’re guaranteed, that’s something you can work on?
But at least we’ve got an answer as to the problem in itself. ^^
