I remember something like this happening on one of my alts and I’m trying to remember how i fixed it. It was something with phasing i remember that but i cant remember specifically.
No problem. Sorry for being crabby. Just really frustrated and worried it’s going to be like this forever, up until the game finally goes offline 40 years from now. Although it doesn’t help much when people ask me if I’ve talked to Gazlowe to get the quest or not. Like… ya lol. Wouldn’t be here if he actually had it for me hahahahahaha
But anyway, yeah. Like I said I actually suspected that could be the problem because I had a phasing problem with actually starting BFA in the first place. I got the quest from Nathanos. Then didn’t do it. I needed some DF quests. Quest log was full. I deleted BFA starter, thinking I could pick it up again. Went back after I finished DF quests. Then realized I couldn’t. Problem was actually that I also had the legion starter in my quest log, and I suspected that was problematic. We did the legion intro. Went back. Nathanos had quest available.
So in that scenario, it was a phasing problem. But for the life of me, in this situation, I can’t find anything like that. Not to mention, my friend and I werent in different phases even while not grouped, and she was able to pick up Legends of Mecha. As stated, I’ve done most of BFA on my hunter. So my hunter should be able to pick it up. I don’t understand why I can’t.
As an alliance char I’d like to add that I too cannot pickup the quest. I got the seed quest to start The Legend of Mechagon, and Tinkmaster Overspark recognizes me but I don’t get the quest. My issue maybe a little different though as I started the quest to heal Mekkatorque but didn’t complete the chain. Just fyi. Thanks for starting this thread! ( I know this is horde, but I thought it relevant to maybe join topics since it seems to be an issue with the quest trigger itself if its on both factions.)
Yes and no. There are sometimes multiple issues involved and it seems that they believed the original one looked into had been resolved. This appears to be another one related to the first but not addressed in the recent hotfix.
It seems to be similar to the issue that was experienced with the Scouting Map. There is a bug in on it and it is being looked into.
Update: Hotfix should be in now. Give it another try.
