Hello, I just tamed a pet raptor on this character but I am unable to name him Yoshi.
Is that named banned? I can’t find the naming policy to check. Thanks!
If it’s not allowing you to use that name than it probably isn’t allowed. Nintendo isn’t so kind to people who use their license without permission.

I agree with Ughash that the issue could be related to the name being from a Nintendo character.
Probably true. Oh well.
There are several names that, at the trademark owners request, are on a prohibited list. I can’t be certain, but that is likely one of them.

Just out of curiosity, does the raptor you tamed have a name with punctuation (dashes, apostrophes, etc) or spaces in it? If so, try dismissing the pet and relogging. In the past, I’ve had problems naming rare hunter pets anything if the current name was something that had “illegal” characters in it already.

Well, apparently I can’t name my pet Ben, Jerry, or even Penn or Pen. Like what??
