I played wow this morning. And everything worked fine.
Later in the morning around 11:30am EST I went to log in and I couldn’t. I get this error: BLZBNTBNA00000A8D.
I did notice the message: The Battle.net Authenticator app will be retired on 5 January, 2024. Download the Battle.net mobile app now and migrate your authenticator to avoid any issues logging in. So I followed the directions to complete that thinking it might work. I deleted that Battlenet folder to no avail.
Now the authenticator in my mobile app is not cooperating. I live in a rural area and cell phone coverage is iffy, depending on the weather. Not everyone lives in urban areas. I must preferred the old authenticator rather than on the cell phone.
I read the tech forums but did not see anyone need help with the Battlenet desktop app log in.
