Okay, so I got on my guild, i’m trying to gquit. Typically, the command is /gquit to quit a guild and it logs me totally off the game. i turned off all of my add-ons and it still takes me off the game completely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated???
Have you tried these steps?
- Press ‘J’ on your keyboard to open up your guild window. This is the window which shows all of the guild information.
- Click the ‘Roster’ tab along the bottom of the window.
- Find your character’s name and right click it. A menu will drop down from your name with several selections.
- Select ‘Leave Guild’.
Generally you can quit the guild from your name in the guild tab, or you can do so through /gquit. If that doesn’t work, you could try a full UI reset.

I think I have it, i had to promote my best friend to guild master and then gquit. Thank you!!!

You can’t quit a guild when you’re leading it, not without a guild master there. XD

Even if you turn off addons, sometimes there are things that linger “on”.
You have to completely disable all addons from the character screen.
I’ve had trouble with this too, the only way you can do it is to get EVERYTHING off.
Oh and there is that.
The only way you can quit a guild that you are leading is if you are the only one left in the guild.
Edit: Or if you pass the lead, obviously.
