I very briefly played BfA as Horde. Now I’m alliance cause I faction changed. If I take the mage tower portal to Boralus it just drops me into the Stormwind keep. If I take the boat from the docks to Kil Tarus it also just loads me into the Stormwind keep. I can’t see any kind of quest line to get me there. What do I do? There are some pets there I want to tame.

I’m not sure if this will work but, check a message board in SW and see if there is an intro quest for BfA. It may be locking you out of Boralus in order to go through the Alliance BfA intro.

If it’s not the Command Board, try the guard next to it. If you start as Alliance the BfA quest starts there. Also try Stormwind Keep or Stormwind Harbor, follow-up locations in the starting chain.

Just curious, but have you tried talking to Chromie to see if she has an option to place you in the BfA timeline?
Are you getting any errors when this happens, Redder? Like World Server Down? You otherwise look like you qualify to get to that area, you have the quests completed. The only thing I can think of is that the server hadn’t spun up an instance for that area for you to go to and it was directing you back to a safe location because of it.
If that is the case, I imagine you might give it another try and see if the area loads for you. If not, please let me know.

I ended up picking up a quest from someone in stormwind castle and was able to progress from there. It just took me forever to figure it out, but it works now.

I had the same issue, once I put heart of Azeroth in my bags it worked.
