You mean armor? That would be pointless. What they need to do is bring back tier sets, and stop raising the ilvl of world quest gear.
Pretty much… Other than for the occasional warfront ect that will give you a possible 400 piece you’re at your max.
Gear = armor. I rarely see a weapon drop from anyone in a raid or dungeon. So, yes armor.
It would not be pointless. BTW I was just given an example of what they could do to make raid, mythic armor unique from the boring world quests’ armor. I do like the tier sets. They gave someone perks when they had a set. That is what I am talking about.
That is one reason why I would rather go back to the vendor system of grinding for badges. At least you feel that you earn something, and you get what you want, unlike now.
I’m talking about the stat armor, not an item. So yes, it would be pointless.
I got to almost 400 so can you. Fight ivus when he’s up, do bonus rolls. Do darkshore when it’s up. You can get higher, it just takes time.
Then you are talking about item level then. I am talking about it all. The stats and the perks. It would not be pointless to give raid, mythic armor perks and some unique stats that give it a boost.
Do you PVP? Not sure how far along, if any, you are in the weekly conquest bars, but if you plowed through them – fill multiple bars per week, 500 conquest isn’t difficult to get – you could get to the Post-Week 10 rewards, all of which are item level 400 pieces. At least then you could raise your overall item level, and WQs will scale to 395, Azerite emissaries to 400, and offer you more choices if you don’t like the PVP items.
Also, getting to Revered on CoA reputation would give you +15 item levels to the neck, effectively raising your average item level 1 point.
If you “dont like PVP” then by your own choices, you’ve eliminated all sources of gear upgrades for yourself, and you are effectively done.
I wouldn’t worry about it op in 8.2 there will alot high ilvl for you to grind for soon 430 ilvl gear but some of the slots to fill in you would still have to do some events and warfronts here and there.
The one I see right now in my conquest bar, which I am trying to fill is 375. So, they are not all 400 level items. I have had emissary quests give 370, when my level is higher then 370.
Did you miss where I typed Post-Week 10 ? Here, let me show you:
If you haven’t filled the conquest bar 10x, which would have originally been 1 per week, then you won’t be at the Post-Week 10 bar. But week 10 was a i400 weapon, and all following weeks after Week 10 have been i400 items. Upcoming Week 20 is a second i400 weapon. You need to catch up in the system, you can’t just jump ahead. But you can fill out multiple bars in a given week (until you catch up to the current Week), and powerlevel yourself thru Conquest bars until you reach the i400 items.
No, OP. I solo world quests and warfronts (no raids/dungeons/island exp/PvP), and so far I’ve crawled my way to ilvl 400.
The problem I’ve noted lately though: with one exception on May 24 (395 gear/weapon), emissary rewards have been azerite power, war resources, or gold since the week of May 6.
The bright side to this: I spend less time playing WoW.
Oh, okay. That makes sense. I do not have guild or any friends that play the game, so I have to rely on looking for battlegrounds and trying my best to kill players that are stronger and in a group. Of course I have to be very lucky to kill someone else that is stronger then me. Then there is the time that I can only put into it.
Yeah, but as it should be, all games have an end and if you won’t dungeon or raid, 389 is just about the end. You can continue to shoot for the 400s via the very limited means you have (darkshore quest/world boss) and emissaries/incursions which go up to 395 normal and 400 azerite.
The thing you can do is run some alts - I do that when I hit my limits too. When my toons hit 410, I move to alts, as I won’t raid and that’s about my M+ top out. I’ve got a 410 pal, 409 war, 405 hunter… etc.
Don’t feel bad, you are only 20 ilevels below me, and I’ve run tons of M+.
Surprisingly, you don’t have to kill anyone, you just need to be on the winning team in the BGs.
Conversely, you can /warmode ON and do faction incursions … all 5 WQs per faction incursion = 60 conquest. If you loot the warchest, thats +50 more conquest.
So if you catch 1 incursion daily, and make sure to loot the warchests, you can get 110 conquest daily even without BGs. If you can manage to win first epic & first random BG per day, that’s 105 conquest you’d earn.
So, let’s tally up our daily sources:
- 5x WQ per incursion, with warchest = 110
- 1x random BG and 1x epic BG = 105
215 Conquest daily for very little actual effort. Do that 7 days a week optimally, 1505 conquest total. That’s three (3) conquest bars per week, optimally, for very little effort. Obviously less if you can’t commit everyday, or miss an incursion, but the conquest is there, it’s easy to collect, and it moves along quickly.
Almost forgot, at your PVP area, there will be a kill quest for 10? opposite faction players in a random BFA zone, and that awards 50 conquest I think.
Youll cap out at about 400 doing solo content.
Which, of course, is insane considering its the same item level as the current heroic raid tier.
No. Azerite gear emissaries max out at 400 and regular gear emissaries 395. Ivus drops 400 ilevel gear and with a seal you get 2 chances for gear. The rotational darkshore warfront quest rewards 400ilevel gear. If you’re Alliance the ‘against overwhelming odds’ weekly pvp quest rewards 395 regular gear and 400 azerite gear and after 10 weeks of capping conquest the conquest bar will start rewarding 400 ilevel gear.
Why cant they just put everything on a vendor and have me pay with AFK tokens? That way when i AFK for long enough i can buy heroic raid loot
WQs are just too demanding
It’s only end game if you choose to make it that way. You can easily get 400 gear in mythic dungeons and 410 a week by completing a +10 which at this point of the expansion is very easy. I’d suggest rolling a alt.
I’m with you. I kinda was serious about raiding last expansion and did a lot of mythics, but this expansion I find myself uninterested in well, both. Still doing current content, but I’ve been doing content from the other expansions(mounts, achievements and tier sets mainly).
If you’re not doing higher M+, mythic raiding or arena… you’re going to be sitting somewhere between 390-405 ilvl.
You’re done and you’ve “won” until the next soft gear reset.
You can now create an alt or farm for old content.
