I don’t like mythics, I don’t do raids, i am the last of my circle of friends that still play this game. I have for the last few weeks managed to get to 389 ilvl, and now nothing!
I cannot find any gear better than what I already have, wafront gear is garbage, quest gear is garage, and faction completion gear is garbage.
Am I end game for a solo player?
Yes. Until the patch drops for 8.2. If youve done all the quests and such, you have completed what you can do. Sounds like you are leaving a lot of content on the table, but there is no point in gearing if you arent going to do the higher content.
Thank you for response, I like pvp and roaming around. I don’t care for raids and mythics.

Pretty much. Especially if you haven’t done any Mythic+ or real Raid progression. Even if you picked it up as a PuG, you’d likely get screened out. I have picked up a few 400 pieces from Warfronts and doing PvP conquest caps. Other than that, not much else you can do for now.
If you do the warfronts, even just once a cycle and then do the boss quest, thats 2 400 ilvl gear pieces. And the higher your ilvl, then the world quests get to 400 as well for the azerite armor. I havent stepped foot in a mythic dungeon or a raid above LFR (and only 1-2 times for that) and I am getting my toons close to 400 ilvl. Then I mostly do old content for transmogs.
Sounds like a nice way to play the game.
All things must come to an end, even the gear grind.
Its pretty much the game telling you it’s time to move on to harder and more coordinated group content.
I suggest you give it a try, you may even enjoy it!
^^^ This. My alts haven’t done a single Mythic dungeon nor raid at all and I have 2 alts at 398 and one at 397.
All of their Azerite slots are 405, the only reason they haven’t reached 400 is because of those few slots with pieces that are low ilvl but has gem slots that I can’t replace with higher ilvl pieces I already have in my bags.
Collect things that will last. Gear is like clothing, lasts for a season, then it is no longer useful!
Sad to say, you beat me in that apartment. Every time I do a quest. I mostly get 370 armor. I have not seen an upgrade in weeks the daily quests or weekly. I do raids, but not the normal. I rarely ever see anything form the raids. Most of the time it is gold, or azerite.
Really? I have done Warfronts several times. I have never gotten 2 400 ilevel gear from Warfronts. I have only gotten 1. I do not see how people ilevel their gear in warfronts. The last warfront, Darkshore, I got a blue low level.
I see it more like makes easier to gold farm and other stuff as well ext but yeah it’s temporary.
Probably, but I have a new Warlock at 120 who is already lvl 373ish and can crush just about everything solo.

Nope, I managed 400 on feral spec and 390ish on the other 3. Leveling alts now, I don’t see much past this until 8.2.
I can do it now but still kind of hard soloing elites lately ilvl 399 before i couldn’t do that.
It sounds to me like you don’t NEED any more gear.
If the NPC standing by the warfront table does not have a yellow exclamation mark quest, you need to go do the questline that starts in Stormwind which takes you to Ashenvale and then to Dakshore and do the scenario to unlock it. That’s what rewards you the 400 gear.
This is how it should be. Actually, even more so, you should be capped at 370 or 375. But unfortunately they are slowly letting world quests and such reward heroic raid ilvl loot.
To answer your question, yes. This is an mmo, not a solo player game. Endgame, and as a result the best gear, should be for people willing to do challenging group content.
Oh yeah, I have gotten the gear for that. Either that I get the same gear that I do not need. Anyways, I stopped playing for a time, so that is one reason why I did not get 400 ilevels. Of course this is the first time this year that I got a 400 ilvl.
Well they can always make the raid gear, along with the stupid mythic gear better then. They could give it a hardness attribute to it, that soaks up more damage then normal.
I would rather go back to the badge system with the vendors.
Of course they would have to fix pvp. It is just horrible.
