Can't gear anymore?

True. I do have Warmode on for my 2 characters I use for pvp. Rogue and DM.

The problem is you have to win. I have gone through several bgs and several times lost in a roll. Then at some point that just gets tiring and demoralizing and just puts me off the game. Yea, sure you can not win all the time. It is just tiring after going through 4-5 bgs losing.

Another thing is that I am not always on. I got burned out before and sometimes I want to do other things. Then there are points where I have to do other things. That is life. I can not spend my entire time playing the game.

Arenas you have to have a team, which I do not. So, that option is out of the question.

But you are right about the amount of conquest points.

None of my alts do any raid/mythic+ content and they are all hovering aroudn ilvl 400. They do WQs, IEs, Warfront for the 400 gear and the Darkshore world boss.

…What are you gearing up for?

Despite claiming that they don’t care about other people’s gear or admire their gear or even think they’re very cool for having it … they want the gear so that someone lower down the totem pole will admire their gear and think they’re cool for having it.

Also having nice gear gives them the confidence and a self esteem boost to correctly trace a circle or to help some turtles to the water.

So the fact that it makes it easier to do the world content they want to do doesn’t mean anything?? As well as greatly evening the tables in WPvP (if they chose to do such a thing)??

I LAughed at 10 weeks conquest cap for 400 gear.

No, since I’m a solo player with 400 ilevel.

  • Darkshore Warfront, once per cycle for the 400.

  • Ivus, every patrol cycle; Make sure you have a seal, many of the things I’ve won have been on the bonus roll.

  • Emissary, when they are for a 395 (if that ilevel is high enough to get 395 ones.) Don’t forget the turtle ones for trinket/ring.

Only a couple people in this thread answered correctly; The ones saying you are “done until 8.2” are incorrect.

Which is still entirely too high for doing absolutely no meaningful content.

Should copy character to PTR and then play around a bit. If you’re getting smacked around by outdoor non elites, then you probably could stand to get a bit higher.

If you have no problems with non elite trash in new zones, and not much difficulty tackling the new rares, but still don’t plan to tackle higher end group content (PVE or PVP) then you could be “done” in a gearing sense until 8.2.

If “done” means getting as high as possible while strictly doing solo content then you’ll be chasing that carrot all the way til 8.2 and hoping for the Forging casino to go your way.

You might be able to upgrade gear if you didn’t have to depend on the RNG gods giving you titanforges and instead had currency to farm from WQs/warfronts/etc but hey that’s none of my business.

In terms of what your doing now yeah that’s pretty much as high as you can go without getting lucky.

Unfortunately, and yes it sucks.

all you can do if you dont do mythics is wait for darkshore ilvl 400 gear and hope for rng and then emissary ilvl 395 gear thats all you can do unless you want to 3v3 arena for rating.

How does it suck to reach, as a solo player, the same item level as players who do group content at the heroic level?

If you want all that WoW has to offer in similar content, but as a solo player, Diablo 3 is waiting for you. Dungeons with far more affixes, and all solo. Reforging items to get the best stats you want, as many times as you want. Reach highest level of gear, all completely solo!

I didn’t say any of that, but congrats for inventing things I said, I guess?

Finishing the game as a non-raider within hours of hitting level cap is what sucks.

Out of curiosity, what is the reason you aren’t into raiding/mythic +?

You can go higher if you work it right. You might need some warforges though.

I am at 400 ilevel and get 395-400 rewards from Emissaries and Warfronts when they are available. I don’t do mythic+ or raids either.

If that’s all you do, that’s all you need. I’m in the same area, 397 ilevel, some 400 and 410s but several 375-385s drag it down.

My rogue alt who pvps a lot, no raids, no mythics, has hit 402.

My bad, didn’t mean to reply to you specifically.
But onto the point, what would be an ideal situation for non-raiders who also are non-keystone-runners and non-PVPers, as far as end-game content?

Be mindful that anything awarding gear appropriate for those raiders, gladiators is encroaching on their end-game content, and gear levels shouldn’t matter if the content you are doing doesn’t need those levels of stamina/main stat.

if you dont do high end content why do you need to gear beyond what is required for you to do the content you do?

Since I am lazy I will just c/p myself from another thread.
