Can't find character in Forums when attempting to change characters

I submitted a ticket already about this and got numerous replies in which it was clear no one read the ticket and I have been redirected here AGAIN.

I can’t find my character when I go to change it IN THE FOURMS, under the change character beside the 3 DOTS and SEARCH BAR…
This character was transferred months ago but doesn’t show up on my list of characters to select. I can however find the OLD character from my previous server.
Lemondot on Pagle is still active. Should be Lemondot on Mankrik now and I cannot find that choice, but can find every other character I have in classic…

And I have already changed my password twice and no change.

Have you tried a different browser, clearing your cache and cookies? Sometimes, that’s all that needs to be done.

I’m sorry, Lemonhart, but there isn’t anything that a Game Master can do about posting characters. They can provide some troubleshooting steps, but that is about it.

If you cannot find a specific active character to use as your posting avatar you’ll want to post in the Website Bug Report forum so that team can take a look.

This is the link the GM gave me to post to have this fixed and now your telling me AGAIN that I have to go somewhere else? This is the 3rd time, like seriously

I reckon they didn’t explicitly state the Customer Support forum, but rather the forums as a whole.

The website has its own dedicated board.

No it was a link directly to the customer support, it was in my ticket like https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/Support with directions to start a post

That URL takes you to the top of the Support sub forum group. You still have to choose the Website Bug Reports sub forum to submit a website bug report.

You chose Customer Support, which doesn’t handle bug reports.

To clarify this more, the CS forum is an Information Desk, not a means to directly reach GMs, QA, Devs, etc. Nobody on the forums can directly fix an issue for you. The bugs with char selection in the forum software have been around a while. The only thing you can do is report the bug to give them another example of an impacted account.

From there it has to be fixed for everyone impacted, not just you. There is no way to individually fix your account.

I hope that helps with expectations of what may happen (or not happen) by posting.

Sorry for the confusion, Lemonhart. I’ll make sure the Game Master is aware of the correct forum to post about these kinds of matters. Most Game Masters are not entirely familiar with the forums, as they don’t work with them.
