Im trying to swap a guild to another server and it keeps telling me I have a battle pet in my bags. Ive checked the guild bank, the character bank and the bags and I cant find one. Can someone help me with this? Ive seen other posts have GM attention to help find the items. Turning on the bagnon addon and searching for “battle”, “pet”, “cage” all havent found anything either. Its my rogue on bleeding Hollow.
Also, why would there be such a silly rule when you can learn a pet on one server and cage it on another, essentially making them server-swappable items.
Is this this your level 48 Rogue?
If so, it looks like you have the pet Backbone in an Embersilk Bag in your bank.

While Vrak was able to point out the pet in question - he is neither a GM nor a Dev who made this design decision. If it’s something you would like to see changed, please, by all means! Put your idea forth either in the appropriate forum (which is really a toss up here between General Discussion or Pet Battles), or through the in-game suggestion and feedback interface. Due to the nature of this particular forum being one that is for players to assist other players, data and feedback is not collected here, unfortunately.

The suggestion has been made via feedback submission in-game, although it was more of an afterthought to my original reason for the post, which Vrakthis was able to solve and I am SUPER GRATEFUL for!!! I was able to complete the guild transfer! Thanks so much for the quick reply!

From a mechanical point of view character transfers between realms, wow licenses and Battle.net accounts operate the same, except for what is required to initiate them. Basically, the restriction for pets, mounts, heirlooms, etc… are intended to avoid various abuses associated with those items.
