Can't even get 1800

I stopped at 1600 for the token because I knew better…you only get rewarded in pve for trying hard lol

Man, you’ll get it one day.

Did it first five days I think of the season on my DK with non meta build but it was excruciating. Like passing Kidney stones for 5 days would have been the same enjoyment.

Not doing any more shuffle matches on my DK the journey is over. Frodo dropped the ring in the volcano and collapsed.

Stack mastery for huge power word shields. Some of the top disc priests in shuffle are around 55% mastery. Haste really isn’t that great anymore most of the good ones sit around 15-18% haste max.

^^ This man sounds angry.

I just wouldnt really worry until the end of the season. I got 1800 on rogue and priest last season within the last month.

Healing is really garbage my dude better off playing dps its way more forgiving to climb on. healing is just super awful and blizz makes it so its extremely punishing to climb. you go 3 in 3 and lose mmr and if you go 4 in 6 you gain like zero rating unless your mmr is insanely high. Most of my friends quit too. Its only glads and tryhards playing at 1800 gatekeeping and it just makes the game not enjoyable unless you are also a tryhard sweat.

Disc priest felt great earlier in the season when everyone was on equal footing with gear. I was able to weave in damage spells with my healing ones and it was really fun and enjoyable.

But ever since people started getting their 4-piece sets, and due to ours being absolutely trash, disc feels like it did in season one…spamming shields/heals hoping your teammates live and not even thinking about casting a damage spell.

It isn’t necessarily that. It’s moreso that I prefer having agency in the outcome of my games alongside being in an environment where I can know for certain whether I was outplayed or did the outplaying. Even if it means losing constantly, I’d rather lose in a game where the burden of performance is present and equally distributed amongst all participants and I can clearly see what led to a loss. The larger you go in group size, the more you end up spreading player accountability thin while creating a smoke screen where players can feel like they are contributing but actually doing **** all.

Large scale pvp is a place for visual spectacle and the illusion of excitement for those that don’t actually want to outplay the opposition on any sort of micro level.

That’s pretty much what healing in shuffle has become. Damage is so high that there aren’t enough globals to do much aside from heal. Plus any time you try to go offensive as a healer, you get every cc/interrupt in the book thrown at you.

Kinda feel that too. Some people are still saying it’s S tier but I disagree. It’s kinda fallen off at least in shuffle. Maybe A tier.

About a third of your healing is just PWShield. Great, until you start to fall behind. With damp it’s hard to catch back up. Don’t think the throughput is there as much as say Rdru.

Not to mention like ya’ll said when damp starts ramping you’re just spamming healing and there’s little room to be offensive at all which is Discs supposed biggest strength.

And your main cc requires you to run in to melee range (with no self-setup like Holy has Chastise) and put you at risk of being cc’d for eternity.

The high end players say “S” tier but is that how a professional player plays a class or how the majority play it?
