did they mess up or just were incorrect about something about the job?
Thats like telling heroic raiders to just do LFG, too boring, they want the loot.
I do RBGs all the time w friends, and progress in rated content. I reached my goal of 1800 transmogs so basically done for the season just having fun now.
PvP would be more fun if the player base grew large, more participation equals more resources and investment from Blizzard. But with a dead part of the game, we the players get little.
I hit my goals, I want the game to be better for the players, and more fun! There is a reason you see non stop soliciting of selling pvp ratings, the ELITES turned wow pvp into exactly what they wanted. A dead, easily manipulated part of the game, they own lil cash cow.
You’re both right lol. Swag is souvenirs/stuff we all get (think promotional Pokémon card for seeing the movie back in the day) but it’s also used as just “cool” or “hip” (from swagger).
Why do we keep harping on addons? Frankly, all they do is make up for a lackluster base UI usually. You don’t need a ton even with that fact. They used to be banned in tournaments even. People just go way overboard with them I feel. Like teenagers with their first car. Buying silly mufflers, autozone hood scoops and fake vents and stuff. You don’t need half the stuff people get; they’re just trying to get all “the stuff.” In fact I recall absterge reviewing games from a viewer and commenting that his ui was completely unnecessary and overloading his attention.
You absolutely don’t lol. I played for years with a normal one and while I don’t still, I personally know a 2400 (recurring) xp player that clicks his abilities still. Literally.

Why you hire two Daniel Larsons?
I don’t think you’re catching the point of my comment. Let me put it another way.
I’ll use myself as another example. I’m 48 years old. Been playing since Vanilla first opened 15+ years ago. I was around 28 or 29 years old then. I’m bordering the point of being too old to play anymore.
Just imagine how many people were older than me back then? People that have long since had to either grow up, had kids and moved on, got older and no longer have those younger reflexes and left because they no longer have the luxury of health to continue playing. Believe it or not, this games been around long enough for people to age and move on. I’m pretty much at that point myself.
My point is simple, WoW’s base is your diehard fan base that have been in it for a decade or more. When enough of those fans grow out of it, while at the same time the game not being attractive to younger generations that are accustomed to modern games, the population shrinks.
If you want to stem the bleeding out of WoW, it needs to appeal to new players. Right now, it doesn’t. Except that changes need to be made for the health of the game, or sit in Que times north of an hour and potentially worse with time.
When people say the games dying, they’re not wrong.

It’s the military man they’re sending all these kids who have the irl version of old glad mounts in the trading post personalities

Unless you really want the mog it doesn’t matter because gear literally doesn’t matter in arena.
They’ve made it to where you can buy a green pvp set and be competitive
I agree with your general sentiment, but this part isn’t true, and not all mmo mice are that expensive if you insist that you need one.
The game does require a lot of binds no doubt, but if you just use at least two of shift ,alt, ctrl modifiers it really isn’t that bad.
I’ve only ever used mice that have 2 buttons on the side + a scroll wheel.
WHOLE post you made is awesome and correct!!! And no matter how simple you put it to them they still dont get it.
nope, you jump into rated pvp in just greens, its not gonna be fun! Well, it will be for the other team.
I made UH DK playable to 1800 just because I took all that crappy Bloat and packed it into a few keybind macros to spam. I use tellmewhen addon to let me know when the CDs are al aligned. If I had to put every spell in the book onto the bar, and press individually that class would be unplayable to me, and a migraine headache.
Cast sequence macros where you run outa macro typing space lol. 20 year old game packed w BLOAT and redundant features… WoW is a hot mess, fresh cow droppings lol.
actual snoozefest material
hot tip for any other two fingered mutants out there struggling
I don’t use an mmo mouse but I do have binds like shift 6 the mouse would definitely be easier. Not required tho
Why do you play it then lol?
This is probably the biggest thing I don’t really understand. You and many others pay a sub (or gold that you need to dedicate time to acquire) to play a game that you are never happy or even content with.
You guys pay to just complain endlessly, so you either enjoy the complaining (or the attention you get from complaining), knowing darn well that the game is never going to satisfy you.
It’s actual insanity.
My only guess is that you’ve sunk so much of your life into the game that you can’t imagine life without WoW. Textbook sunk cost fallacy?
This isn’t healthy. If you and those like you rarely derive any joy from playing, because as you said, the game is a hot mess, fresh cow droppings, then you must love fresh cow droppings.
The pvp in wow never has and never will be perfect or even close to it. The amount of binds required has never changed so much that it became a 4-5 button only game (even when much of the abilities were pruned).
My advice is to stop wasting your time and/or money on something you clearly don’t enjoy, because it’s clearly never going to satisfy you. In other words, find a new hobby
If you find the cycle of suffering through playing the game for the sake of fomo on some transmogs + heading to the forums every time you have a bad session, then by all means, continue what you’re doing. Just doesn’t sound healthy imo.
Gratz on the 1800 dk mog, it’s a nice one

I still play for fun w friends, RBGs n rated pvp… I gots my goal I was after, the mogs every season, so kinda done for the season just goofin with friends.
Main reason I talk about this stuff is I want to see the game get better. I know with a higher player population, and more participation in pvp the more resources blizzard will give towards this part of the game. And I do believe that Wpvp is a great starting point for many players to take a look at the pvp side of wow.
ty!!!
