Not being able to link to our website is annoying enough but apparently, I’m not allowed to edit my own post in the general recruitment forum for some reason. Anyone know why? Is it a bug on my account?
I’m not sure about the editing issue. What happens/doesn’t happen when you try?
As for linking, you can post non hyperlinked URLs by using the “Preformatted Text” markdown on it (the </> button in the toolbar).
For example:
www.google.com

But the character you’re posting on is not the same character that made the topic. Did you try editing it from the same character that originally made it?

Well, I got logged out after I made the post. Maybe I was defaulted to another toon and didn’t know it. I’ll go look.
That happens on these forums very often. It’s practically a trope for someone to post a bug report on a character that couldn’t possibly have had the bug followed by another post by the correct character saying “it was this toon, I’m the same player as up there”.
And since the forums don’t know different characters are the same player, Character Y can’t edit a post by character X even if they’re both the same player’s.
