Ok so there is no option to download wow classic or retail on my battle.net i can download wow retail by clicking try for free but for some very odd reason blizz doesnt offer this for classic so i have no way to download anyone kno why theres no play/update/download at the buttom left of my battle.net ???

If you don’t think the help you’re getting in that thread is working out, you should open a topic in the support forums for the Battle.net app, since it’s actually a completely separate software product from WoW.

You need to pay a subscription to have access to Classic. Because you seemingly do not have one, you cannot play it and thus cannot download the client, presumably.
Edit: " If you want to install and play WoW Classic versions or select game modes, you are required to have game time or a subscription"
