Can't deal with queue times and toxicity anymore in BGs

Horde BGs have been actually unplayable over the last week. It’s really sad, I actually really like pvp and I really want to gear for arena but it’s gotten so toxic that I’m not gonna knowingly put myself through that. PvP is what I was into, and since it’s turned into all this I’m not sure where to go with the game at this point.

Everything about the whole issue is toxic, from the people actually trying to stop horde players from being able to queue and gear by complaining about same faction BGs on forums, to the people on horde in game venting at each other in BG chat because their so tilted for losing game after game after sitting in 30+ minute queues. Worst thing I’ve seen like this in a game in my life.

This.

Welcome to WoW Classic where content is solved and everyone overcompensates.

This is why I opted out of PvP. Nobody really wants a fair game, they want a stomp. What we have is exactly what y’all deserve. Congratz, y’all PvPers. Y’all played yourselves!

if enough horde quit, queues will normalize again. this is part of healing.

Nice meme. Alliance was the meta slave faction in classic. Now it’s tbc. Some of us have been here since the beginning.

I love the superiority complex of some of these people.

I feel 0 sympathy for the people who DID roll Horde to be FOTM and camped Alliance in Phase 2.

People forget that everyone has different tastes. Some LIKE the aesthetic look of Alliance. Some people like the aesthetic look of Horde. You see people playing the worst race for a class because they think it looks cool.

I was Alliance until AQ. Grobbulus was always Alliance dominated and is still at 60%. I went Horde in AQ because we needed Horde, and I like both factions, works for me.

I do miss my Night Elf Hunter though :frowning:

TLDR;
Stop being jerks. We all play this game to have fun. Stop seeing teams and start seeing people. Stop blanket judging, it makes you look childish.

Maybe for PVE, but Horde was always the meta for PVP.

What if I rolled Horde but had no idea about queue times because I didn’t play classic? What then? I have three kids and two ex wives and only have time to play one BG.

ps: bring wow token to classic.

(On a pvp server) Looking forward to that P2 experience again. Alliance going to enjoy getting into SSC/TK.

In Classic, Alliance was the PvE metaslave faction, Horde was the PvP metaslave faction.

In TBC Alliance is no longer PvE dominant, both factions have paladins now and Horde racials (troll/orc) are preferred for PvE as well.

This has caused Horde to have significantly higher population compared to Alliance, to such an extent it is actually game breaking.

The answer is simple, stop being meta slaves, if you want to play on the meta slave faction in TBC you should have to accept the fact that you will have a much easier time in open world PvP but you will also have to put up with longer queues.

That’s a lie. Horde players have boyfriends.

You don’t have to spell it out for me. Nobody cared about pvp in classic. How many high warlords are even good at arena? Most of the ones I see are not even 1500. Regardless. Your argument was dog. Respectfully.

I’m gonna need you to show this.

Nvm I looked it up and you’re correct. There are more horde guilds raiding in TBCC than alliance now.

7,600 Alliance guilds in Karazhan
9,015 Horde guilds in Karazhan

Again with the sky is falling mentality. Having imbalance in faction numbers is not “game breaking.”

My Alliance is on netherwind. Bring it.

All the hardcore guilds like salad bakers literally swapped to horde for the troll racial.

If you want to see something truly disgusting go to ironforge.pro and filter it so you only see PvP realms, the amount of Horde players compared to Alliance on PvP realms is disgusting.

It’s “game-breaking” if you’re alliance and want to get a netherdrake, it’s “game-breaking” and you’re alliance and are fed up with getting ganked and outnumbered by Horde on the regular.

It’s “game-breaking” if you’re horde and want faster queues.

Faction balance should have been enforced from day 1, since it hasn’t be enforced, it should be solved with free faction transfers from Horde to Alliance until the balance is resolved.

You are basing this on a narrow lens of PVP server. I’m on bigglesworth and while there is open world pvp, things are mostly respectable and neutral. You signed up for a pvp server, that means you will be ganked/camped/triggered. This doesnt break the game, you call in reinforcements and get some payback or move on with your gameplay. What you just described is the ideal example of why you should have selected a PVE server. You want to farm in absolute peace and choose to engage in pvp when you want to. You picked the wrong server type and tell everyone else the game is breaking? Using your own words “you knew what you signed up for!”

Yeah I can imagine it’s no better on the alliance either actually because you’re either sitting in queue for hours on end or you’re getting farmed for hours on end.

Hopefully blizzard introduces the same faction battle grounds soon And face too just happens soon like on reset hopefully.

And for the record I say this as an alliance player Anyway I hope things get better for you

I actually did and you’re right BUT the same disparity can be seen in reverse if you only look at the PvE realms highly favored towards Alliance

Solutions are there and don’t be lazy. Just reroll or wait other people rerolling.
