I have done everything but the dungeon. All I get is the quest to go to molten core. I have tried several times. Is there a bug?
It looks like you have to complete the quest line leading the achievement to the Mechagonian Threat, then you should be able to do the recruitment quest in the capital city to open up the allied race.
Try this guide, it should be set for post Shadowlands requirements.
I have done the quest line on another alt. When I pull up the quest, the only line not light up is the “operation mechagnome the mechoriginator”
If you are being sent to Molten Core, then that most likely means you are in the middle of the recruitment chain for Dark Iron Dwarves. You will need to recruit them before starting a new Allied Race chain.

It looks like Kyzera is correct. You started the questline to invite the Dark Iron Dwarves into the Alliance but you never completed it. You have the quest “Molten Core” in progress. You need to complete that questline up through “Dark Iron Dwarves”.

I have done “ready for war” on the same alt who did the questline for mechagnomes.
This the alt who has done the quests.
Ready for War would be the qualification to start the unlock for the Dark Iron Dwarfs and the Mag’har Orc. The Mechagnomes require the Mechagonian Threat.

well, I can’t unlock either of them and I have done all the quests except the dungeons.
I have done ready for war and can’t unlock dark iron dwarfs. I have done the mechagnome threat and can’t unlock the mechagnomes.
All I get is the quest molten core which is a dungeon and the dungeon part was supposed to be taken away to unlock the races.
Here is a bit more information taken from that page I linked that should apply to you as you seem to have unlocked Mechagon on your Horde but not Alliance.
If you have done these achievements on any Alliance character(s), you can head to the Alliance Embassy in Stormwind on that character and start the unlock questchain with Aysa Cloudsinger and accepting the quest “Urgent Care”.
If you have done these achievements on a Horde character, you will then need to login on a level 120 Alliance character.
If this character has already completed the Mechagon Island intro questline that ends with the quest “Welcome To The Resistance”, then the character can head to the Alliance Embassy in Stormwind and pick up the quest “Urgent Care” from Aysa Cloudsinger to start the Allied Race unlock questline.
If this character has not unlocked Mechagon Island, you can head to the Alliance Embassy in Stormwind and Gila Crosswires will have the quest “Fame Waits For Gnome One” which will lead the character through the Mechagon Island unlock process which then leads to the mechagnome unlock questline. If you are in this situation, you will not need to go to Nazjatar.
Note: 120 is the presquish level. You’ll need a level 50 Alliance character.

That only applies to the dungeon requirements for unlocking the ability to recruit the Dark Iron Dwarves, Mechagnomes and the Kul Tirans.
The part for Molten Core (which is a raid, not a dungeon) is the recruitment chain for Dark Iron Dwarves.

well. I am at the embassy and there is no "Gila Crosswires " there.
Aysa Cloudsinger is there but not giving a quest.

You may not have read my post from earlier that stated that you have already started the questline to invite the Dark Iron Dwarves into the Alliance. You have the quest “Molten Core” on your level 60 Worgen Hunter.
You need to complete that questline before you’ll be able to do anything other intro questline for Allied Races.
The quest isn’t exactly a dungeon quest. It’s a scenario, much like the first one where you went to Blackrock Depths.
It might be best to clear out the Dark Iron Dwarf task first.

I did the quest line with the anvil. Now I’m starting the quest “send the fleet”.
Is that where I’m supposed to be?
It sounds like you are on the second quest to unlock Mechagon for that character so that sounds right. You need to have access to that area for the Alliance in order to unlock the Mechagnome.
The following page has a list of quests you’ll need to complete, that should help keep you on track.

Thanks, I could have been doing this a long time ago if I had known. I thought all I had to do was wait for the new patch to drop and start playing mechagnome

Ok, I have done what you said. I am in Mechagnome with my alliance alt.
I should be able to play mechagnomes now but I can’t. The only thing left is the “The Mechagonian Threat”, Which I have done on my horde alt.
Really starting to get frustrated.
Ok, went to Mechagnome with my Horde alt and told the king there to do the quest himself. It gave me “The Mechagonian Threat”
But I still can’t play mechagnome.
Please don’t tell me I have to do the same entire quest line of “The Mechagonian Threat” on my alliance alt too…
did the same as above but on an alliance hunter, cant create a mechagnome
You will need to do the Mechagon quest chain on your Alliance up to & including the part where daily quests open up on the island.
During BFA, I did all of the requirements for unlocking Mechagnomes on this Horde character. I then had to unlock the Island and dailies on my Alliance Hunter.
