Unable to convert max level timerunner over to retail. Button to convert that is normally next to name is gone.

Had same issue, however I’m posting because it’s now gotten worse, as I’m adding in that the button to convert is gone entirely now. Thank you for linking the thread.
AFAICT, this isn’t an accident. The consensus speculation is that the devs turned off the button because it wasn’t working (and crashing the client when someone tries to use it, and doing something undesirable at the server perhaps).
No developer comment on the issue, but the fact that the button disappeared (almost certainly not by itself) seems to show the devs are aware of it.
Raising a zombie thread because I’m having this issue again. It’s concerning as there is only 10 hours left.
The only reason you’d be unable to convert a Timerunner is if it’s less than 24 hours old. You can’t do a voluntary conversion until 24 hours after the character was rolled up.
All Timerunner characters will be mass-converted to normal Retail at the end of Remix, so you don’t actually have to do anything about manually converting any. Just buy and learn whatever collection items you want with the Bronze you have, because that currency is going to vanish.

That explains it. If it automatically converts, then it’s just a minor inconvenience. I wanted to have an Alliance-side druid, so I made one this morning and used Remix to level it fast.
