On my account and my wife’s accounts, we are each trying to select a Chrome timeline on our alts. We each have multiple level 70s and have chosen timelines before. Chromie gives us the selection screen, however when we click select nothing happens. It happens for all timelines and on multiple characters. Does the gear boost have anything to do with this perhaps?
Your toons are below 60 correct id also try a full UI reset just to rule it out.

yes the chars are under level 60 and a full reset was done just incase.
You are lvl 10+ correct chromie doesnt unlock till 10 i think…

exiles reach was the choice
When you got to SW or Org from Exiles Reach did you skip the intro stuff? If you are in the 1st step of the intro stuff, u can drop it and go back and talk to the 1st quest giver for that and skip. Esle I think Ya gotta go through the intro stuff into BFA, pretty quick, and then you can select Chromie…

I do know that I forgot to do the skip on one of my alts and dropped the 1st SW intro quest and went back to SW entrance and skipped it. The person then gives a quest to talk to Chromie.
Edit: and that happened once in Org as well…dropped the intro stuff as I was on auto pilot and forgot to do the intro skip, went back, skipped and then headed to Chromie.
Edit edit: Ohh I missed the level 45 post. Hmmm, well, I have no idea, then. I’d be curious if you find the answer.
