I just recently (within the hour) transferred a character from one server to another and needed to change his name. But when I try changing his name, it says: “your guild master character has a pending name change. complete the name change and try again”. I’m not a member of a guild. I logged out and logged back in and I still have the problem. It was suggested to me to create the topic under CS rather than general.
Open a purchase failure ticket and explain the situation.

It doesn’t work. It forces me to select from a list several former complaints about the name-change topic to peruse the answers and non of them fit. It doesn’t allow me to create a fresh complaint. It had already been suggested to me to post my complaint here. I don’t like being bounced about.

This forum is for players to help other players primarily. So there are no GMs here and it’s not actually a place for complaints. I’m sorry if someone mistakenly suggested you post here to complain, as they were wrong.
That said, we can indeed point you in the right direction (the purpose of this forum) and help make sure that you get that ticket submitted so that a GM can have a look at what happened as that’s something that they should be able to shed some light on
