I have ymijar’s battleplate and the protectors mark of sanctification and it wont let me buy any of the sanctified battleplates ive tried this with the breastplate as well and it says i dont have the required items for some reason

ICC gear progression was awfu…I mean, different.
Basically, you have to buy the first piece with gold, then upgrade the piece with a Normal token, then upgrade it again with a Heroic token.
So, the only thing you can do is buy the Sanctified version of the Ymijar Lord’s Breastplate.
EDIT: I also just remembered that they might be separated by 10-man and 25-man too. Either way, you’ll only be able to purchase the upgrade to the item you currently have.

right i buy the normal breastplate then I use the protectors mark of sanctification to get the sanctified version correct? because that’s what I’m trying to do is that wrong?
This proved an issue for someone else recently.

okay so I have 2 of the normal ones and one of the battleplates to make this first sanctified battleplate right? because that’s what I’m trying to do.
(hopefully i’ve got this right, someone will be quick to correct me if i’ve made a mistake)

how do you tell the heroic version and the non-heroic version of the breastplate apart?
one will have “Heroic” written on it in green, underneath the item name

I’m having a similar problem in retail. (Currently in dragonflight season 4) I am trying to get the sanctified scourge lord armor set for the transmog and am quite confused as to what I am doing so very wrong. For some reason I cannot buy the sanctified armor set because it requires both the mark and the very same sanctified item in stock. Blizz please fix this I just want the transmogs in retail.
2 things be mindful of the dates this thread 3yrs old and any data here is extremly outdated.
Any feedback and suggestion wont be heard here you want dungeon raids and scenarios or bug forums if you found a bug.

If a thread is anything more than a few weeks old, at max, it’s always best to create a new one.
That said, did you read the tips in the thread? You need to have the normal version before you can trade it + marks for the heroic and so on.
