Long story short, I was banned years ago on Overwatch, so I had to make a new account to play overwatch (had account 2 for like 3 years now). To play Overwatch 2 I now had to remove my phone number from my main account which I play Warcraft and hearthstone to add it to my other account to play overwatch 2.
I now can’t que for mythic plus dungeons without an SMS added but I can’t add my phone number onto two accounts. please help me.

2: Have you put in a ticket to have the number removed from the old account? I’m assuming you can’t log into it and manage it, but think you should still be able to as you can have other games on the entire bnet account.
I can log in, I just added it to play Overwatch 2 (came out last night). I use both accounts since I can’t have OW2 on this account, that’s the issue. So I removed it to add it as it’s required to play Overwatch2 but now apparently it’s also required in Warcraft to list M+ dungeon keys. I can’t have two phone numbers and I can’t keep removing it and readding it.
I do see where that is a problem, but don’t believe you can use the same number on multiple accounts, otherwise account hackers would have a field day.
I’m hoping they can “merge” my accounts maybe since it’s been years or something otherwise I’m going to have to find ways to get phone numbers from apps and that’s probably a bad idea.
They can’t technically merge accounts,
though wow licenses can be moved if the account owner’s name is the same on both.
I’m sorry, Lento, but a phone number can only exist on a single account.
I don’t know if that is possible, there are restrictions on moving certain licenses, but you’ll need to submit a ticket to inquire.
My understanding is they will not remove a banned license to move a non-banned one over. On the issue of phone numbers, they don’t accept VOIP or pre-paid numbers. It also sends a verification message I believe so you need access to the device that the valid number is on.
If they did move your WoW account to your other Bnet account, you would lose all your pets, mounts, achievements, and anything else bound to the Bnet account level.
You can still use the group finder without the phone number, but you can’t edit the title of the listing.
