Can't Add New Payment

My old card has been shut down and I have a new one, meaning that a) my sub won’t renew unless it’s changed and b) I can’t buy from the shop. I’ve been trying for a week to update this and the site won’t let me.

I tried going directly to the Add New Payment section of my account settings and doing it there. The second I click “Credit or Debit Card” as my option, the screen just loads with no end.

I tried changing it from the Subscription menu, both in browser and via the in-game shop. In both, the second I try “Credit or Debit Card”, I get an error message that vaguely says that something went wrong, please try again later.

I know it’s not a connection issue because if I navigate away, the site is suddenly ultra fast- save for when I try to submit a ticket. I sat for ten minutes waiting for it to submit or the screen to change to show that it had and nothing.

I don’t know what else to do. My sub ends on July 8th and I wanted to buy a boost and as of now, it looks like I can’t do either. Has anyone had issues with this or is it just me?

Have you tried another browser or another device yet? I’m not sure how the in-game shop works re: browsers, but a smartphone would certainly bypass it.

Yeah, I’ve tried every alternative I could. I haven’t spoken to Billing but I’ll try that. I had to make a Paypal account that I would rather not keep.

Do you have any Razr equipment by chance? I know it has been causing issues with the shop. Wonder if it is causing issues here too.

However live chat can most likely get you sorted in no time.

The conflict you’re referring to should only be occurring with the in-game shop, and not the web shop or account management page that the OP is having trouble with.

Last week, we were investigating an issue that was causing folks to intermittently encounter issues when trying to add a new payment method. That issue should be resolved at this time. Folks who are still running into it should attempt general browser troubleshooting (in case they have old website data still) and see if that helps :slight_smile:
