Can't add a new payment method

Going to My Account > Payment Methods> Add a new payment Method, then select “Credit Card” and click Continue.

Result is the BNET logo spinning forever, no way to input a new credit card.

What I have tried:

  • Disabling ANY and ALL browser extensions and security software in my computer
  • Using another browser (have tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge, all updated to latest versions, in normal and incognito mode, with clean cache)
  • Using another network (have tried 3 different networks: my regular one, one from neighboor which is a different ISP, and my mobile 4G)
  • Using my phone to try and get it done (Chrome browser only)
  • Multiple mixes of everything listed so far (different browsers in different networks, etc)

In ALL cases the result is still the same: infinite spinning BNET logo.

I cannot use PayPal for my purchases (God only knows why) and apparently there is no other way to pay for products or services.

I have seen past threads where other users, MPVs, CMs suggest everything I’ve tried up here, and some people just gave up because the support was… subpar - “Oh sometimes browsers do that”.

Any proven solution to this issue?

Spinning cursor of death is usually caused by something blocking.

Can be your security software. Ad blockers, browser settings, even other programs that use overlays.

The first step is usually to try a different browser or device.

Will definitely vouch for a second browser (Edge worked for me, but sure felt dirty afterwards), cleared that right up the day I moved some payment methods around and renewed my sub.

I had the same thing. No overlays. Two different web browsers getting hung up at different steps in the process of adding a payment method.

I was able to get around it by accessing the shop via the Battle.net launcher and purchasing something. It saved the payment method.
